Chris Schommer

Chris joined our team as an experienced wealth manager in 2020, returning home from San Diego. He is well-versed in all aspects of wealth management, with an emphasis in retirement planning, investments, and taxes. Chris holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses as well as Life & Health insurance licenses. Additionally, Chris is a federally licensed Enrolled Agent tax practitioner.

On a more personal note, Chris grew up in Colorado and played multiple sports until high school. In high school, he solely focused on tennis and earned a scholarship to play at Whittier College. During his time there, he earned All-American honors and the Presidential Scholar Athlete award, which is given to the athlete graduating with the highest GPA at the college. After college, he married his high-school sweetheart, Molly. Chris began his career as a wealth advisor in Fort Collins, Colorado and Molly worked as a family assistant. They decided to hang up the snowboards and exchange them for surfboards and golf clubs with the move out to San Diego. Chris loves anything outdoors and is a weekend warrior on the golf course.
